OUT OF 421 REGIONS ACROSS NORTH AND SOUTH AMERICA WINDSOR-ESSEX IS IN THE TOP TWO FOR THE BUSINESS FRIENDLINESS AWARD ANNOUNCED BY … FDI AMERICAN CITIES OF THE FUTURE AWARDS 2015/16
Windsor-Essex County, Ontario - Monday, April 13, 2015 – Today, fDi announced the winners of the American Cities of the Future Awards 2015/16. The fDi intelligence division of the Financial Times collected data using the specialist online tools fDi Markets and fDi Benchmark. Data was collected under the following five categories and based on size of the region: Economic Potential, Business Friendliness, Human Capital, Cost Effectiveness and Connectivity. fDi is a bi-monthly magazine and part of the fDi Intelligence division of the The Financial Times Ltd., a dedicated unit specializing in all areas relating to foreign direct investment.
In total, 421 regions were analyzed across both North and South America for this study with Windsor-Essex one of the top two regions in the small city category along with Chattanooga, Tennessee to win the 2015/16 Business Friendliness Award.
